Murray broke Ginepri in the opening game and took a 3-1 lead. Ginepri broke back, took a 5-4 lead before breaking Murray's serve in the next game.
In the second set, Murray waited until the score was 4-4 before breaking Ginepri's serve to 15 and then holding his own serve to take the 2nd set.
In the third set, Murray appears to have been the more composed of the two, breaking in the 5th and 9th games.
This win will likely take Andy's world ranking into the 80's.
Next up is Paradorn Srichaphan, ranked 57 in the world. On paper he should be an easier opponent than Ginepri who is ranked 21 in the world, but Srichaphan is an experienced player and will be playing before a home crowd.
